Remembering Dr Kenneth Harris

Liz Chadwick 1 min read

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Dr Kenneth Harris, a respected teacher, colleague and friend whose contribution to Wales High School will be remembered with great affection.

As Head of Science, Dr Harris inspired generations of students through his passion for Science, high standards and commitment to education. Before retiring in 2005, he played a significant role in leading the department and supporting the wider life of the school.

Dr Harris was someone who embraced school life beyond the classroom. A proud member of the original Wales High School staff band, he also took part in school productions and was always willing to contribute to the many events that made school life so special.

He will be remembered by former students and colleagues as a dedicated teacher, supportive colleague and valued member of the Wales High School community.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

Dr Kenneth Harris leaves behind a lasting legacy through the many lives he touched during his years at Wales High School.
