Curriculum, vision and aims.
It is our intention in the Science department to ensure that we nurture the curiosity of our students in such a way as to make sure that they are scientifically literate and have had the opportunity to take part in a variety of enriching and exciting experiences by the time they finish school.
Science is taught by enthusiastic subject specialists, and we encourage all our students to achieve their best through a well-structured and broad curriculum that supports them to build on their knowledge of the big ideas in science as well as the skills and knowledge essential for our subject. Science is a popular subject at KS5 and many of our students choose to continue their studies at university or as part of an industrial apprenticeship.
