Wales High School Welcomes Students from Makunduchi Secondary School, Zanzibar

We are delighted to welcome students and colleagues from Makunduchi Secondary School to Wales High School this week.

Wales High School has a long-standing partnership with Zanzibar, fostering opportunities for cultural exchange, shared learning, and community engagement. This student exchange provides a unique chance for both our students and our visitors to learn from one another and develop a greater understanding of different cultures.

Below, you can see a photo from the late 1990s, reflecting the long history of collaboration between Wales High School and Zanzibar. You’ll also find an image of our students on their last day in Makunduchi last summer, alongside the students and staff visiting us this week (above).
