Wales High School celebrates Year 13 successes and exciting next steps!
Wales High School is celebrating the achievements of its Year 13 students as they receive their Level 3 results today.
Students are celebrating some fantastic individual achievements, with many securing the highest grades and demonstrating the hard work, commitment and determination they have shown throughout their Sixth Form journey.

Among the outstanding successes, Lina Najim has achieved an impressive A* A* A and A and will now progress to Medical School. Stefan Tarry has achieved A*, A and A, while Gracie Fidler has secured her first-choice university place and will be heading to the prestigious Durham University to study Sport and Exercise Science. Millie Edmonds has also achieved high grades and will begin an Apprenticeship with Hart Shaw Accountants.
The range of destinations reflects the ambition, talent and diversity of Wales High School students. This year’s cohort includes students progressing to university and further study, securing high-quality apprenticeships, taking up sport-related scholarships and moving into exciting employment opportunities.
Headteacher Lisa McCall said:
“Today is a wonderful day for our Year 13 students, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. Their results are a testament to their hard work, resilience and determination, and it is fantastic to see the wide range of exciting opportunities they have secured for their next chapter.
We are excited to see students progressing to university, but we are equally proud of those who have secured apprenticeships, employment, scholarships and other pathways that are right for them. Every student has their own strengths, ambitions and aspirations, and it is incredibly rewarding to see them taking their next steps with confidence.
These opportunities are a wonderful reflection of the ambition, talent and determination of our students. They should be extremely proud of themselves and all they have accomplished during their time at Wales High School.
