Student Gymnast Qualifies For National Finals
Year 7 gymnast, Isha B, has had remarkable achievements this year in trampolining and Double Mini Trampoline (DMT). She is set to achieve further success as she qualifies for the English Championships.
So far this year, Isha has secured the 1st position in East Midlands at all 3 regional championships for both trampoline and DMT. At the national finals, she claimed the 11th spot in Great Britain for trampoline and 6th for DMT.

In the national league, Isha earned 4th place overall for trampoline and 7th for DMT, qualifying for the finals in October.
Not stopping there, she also competed in the English championships, ranking 10th in England and qualifying for the English championship finals in October.
Starting gymnastics at a young age, Isha has dedicatedly trained at Phoenix Gym in Derby three times a week, along with sessions at Elevate Gymnasium.
She not only excels in competitions but also assists coaches in trampolining and tumbling lessons.
When asked about her passion for trampolining, Isha mentioned enjoying trying different techniques, meeting new people, and finding the sport calming and fun during training.
Her aspirations include becoming a professional Trampoline Coach and potentially running the Wales High School ‘Wales Flyers’ trampoline club.
