Annual Sports Ball – Friday 7th July
Every year the PE Department celebrates the sporting success of our students with an Annual Sports Ball. As always, there are lots of exciting awards for all year groups which are shown below and many opportunities for students to achieve them.
This year’s Sports Ball will be held on Friday, 7th July 2023 at The John Day Sports Hall, Wales High School from 7 pm until 10.30 pm. The evening will consist of the presentation of awards, a guest speaker from the world of sport, student performances, a raffle, a disco and much more; there will be no food provided on the evening, however, there will be a licensed bar where you can purchase drinks. Parents are encouraged to attend. The aim of the evening is to enjoy ourselves and celebrate the sporting achievements of our talented and committed young people.
Students that are part of our sports teams will not be required to pay for their tickets, however, additional tickets for guests will be £5.00 each. We do have restrictions on numbers, therefore, please make your payment as soon as possible to guarantee tickets. All payments must be made through our online system. Please follow the link under the parent section on the school website to the online payment system. The tickets are available under the product – ‘Sports Ball’.
It is essential that all invited students attending must sign up for a free ticket on the online system, and then purchase any additional tickets for guests. Tickets will not be allocated until payment is made. All tickets will be distributed a week before the event.
