I am a former pupil of Wales High and joined as a Governor in 2020.
I see this role as a great opportunity to support the leadership team to provide the best environment for young people to thrive in.
Wales has strong links to the Community in which it sits, and I am proud to be a part of it.
I am link Governor to Wellbeing, Maths & English, and am a member of the curriculum committee. I very much enjoy these roles as it allows me to get to know more about the education system and, more importantly, the staff and students within school.
I am a Counsellor and Health Coach working within Health & Social Care and private sector businesses to support staff health & wellbeing across South Yorkshire. I am able to bring this expertise in to my role as a governor to both support the aims of the school and promote the wellbeing of all.
