Geography at Key Stage 3
Our curriculum at Key Stage 3 allows pupils to study across the full breadth outlined with the National Curriculum. In each year pupils will study three broad themes that allow them to access concepts from both human and physical geography. Each topic is also an opportunity to learn and revisit cartographic, mathematical, graphical and literacy skills.
Throughout Key Stages 3, pupils will develop their understanding of how geographical processes create distinctive human and physical landscapes and how they develop over time. Pupils will extend their locational knowledge and spatial awareness. The content learned also allows pupils to develop their place knowledge and how these places are linked together.
