16-19 BURSARY FUND OVERVIEW
The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund provides financial support to help students overcome specific financial barriers so that they can remain in education. The fund is made available by the government through its funding body, Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) for 16 to 19-year-olds.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Students following Academy funded full-time courses, who are 16 years and over and satisfy one or more of the funding criteria.
16-18 STUDENT PASS
All students in full time education aged between 16-18 who live in South Yorkshire are entitled to apply for a Travel Bus Pass which allows them to claim the discretionary fare on buses, trams or trains in South Yorkshire. NUS CARD
Anyone that is in further or higher educations is eligible for a Totum NUS card. This student card will give you discounts for 100’s of different shops and restaurants. For more information go to https://www.nus.org.uk/
