In KS4 students should demonstrate a motivation and determination to succeed in physical activity. Throughout Key Stage 4 students will embed leadership and teamwork in each activity theme. Students will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their decision making and application of skill in areas of the PE curriculum they feel comfortable in.
Key Stage 4 Examination
The PE Dept offers three examination courses at Key Stage 4:
· GCSE Physical Education
· OCR Sport
· BTEC Dance
The PE department offer 3 exam courses at Key Stage 4. These specifications will inspire teaching and learning, enriching students’ knowledge of Physical Education and develop their understanding the world of sport. New and contemporary topics will help students of all abilities to develop a well-rounded skill set and prepare them for progression to further studies, apprenticeships, or employment.
