Jonas Selected for Great Britain U20 Ice Hockey Team

We are incredibly proud to announce that Jonas (Y12) has been selected to represent Great Britain at Under-20 level, a major achievement in his sporting career.

Jonas has been officially named in the Great Britain U20 National Team for the 2025/2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania. This prestigious international tournament will see him competing against some of the top young ice hockey players from around the world.

Ice Hockey UK confirmed that Jonas earned his selection through his performances, work ethic, and attitude, highlighting this as a significant milestone in his development as a player. Representing Great Britain at this level is both an honour and a responsibility, and Jonas will be part of a high-performance environment designed to support his continued growth and progression within the sport.

The Great Britain coaching staff praised the opportunity for players to demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and commitment both on and off the ice, with the tournament serving as an important platform for future opportunities within the GB Men’s programme.
