Help Wales High Raise £950 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital!
Wales High School has the incredible opportunity to decorate, display, and eventually keep our very own lion cub as part of the Pride of Yorkshire fundraising campaign, supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
The WHS Art Department will design and decorate the lion cub using the results from our House Art Competition, taking place on VoW Day 2 – Friday 13th February, while the House Team will lead the fundraising effort to reach our goal of £950 by Easter.

In school, we’re running lots of fun activities to raise money, including:
- WHS Cutest Kitty Competition (running until Easter)
- Krispy Kreme Donut Sale
- Tesco Bake Sale
- ‘Pride of Yorkshire’ Tuck Shop
- The Big House Raffle
Raffle tickets will go on sale after the February Half Term. Prizes so far include:
- SUFC football tickets
- RUFC football tickets
- Tickets to Gulliver’s Valley
- Tickets to Alton Towers
- Voucher for Resti Bakery
- Harry Potter merchandise
