STEM Family Fun Challenge

As part of the school’s partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering Connecting Teachers Project we hosted a STEM Family Fun Challenge. Families from local primary and secondary schools were invited to build and race elastic powered cars and compete their races on a track.

EDT and First Edition lead the event and real life engineers from ARUP delivered a careers talk. The winning student with the furthest racer launch was Theoden Wilson (Y6) from Todwick Primary who took away a special trophy.

Special congratulations to Theo Caudwell (Y3) who came in third place and as the youngest student present this was quite an achievement.
