Tell us about where you are working/studying now and about your role/university course:
I work as an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Leeds. I manage a team who will review financial data to ensure it is a fair representation of the company’s performance before it is published on the annual accounts.
How did studying at Wales help prepare you for this?
I found a passion in accountancy which drove me to look at the ‘Big 4’ audit firms. Wales’ professionalism set me up to dive straight into the real world of work and supported me through all my application processes. Offering accountancy as an A-level made my first few professional exams much easier as I had base knowledge to draw from.
