Law involves a lot more maths than people realise. Having a good grasp of it is therefore invaluable; I’ve met a lot of people along the way in law who really struggle with maths and wish they had a better grounding in it. The logic and analysis skills really helped me in my degree and are now vital in my job, as law is often about following a process to a logical conclusion whilst carefully examining all parts of the problem. Linked to that, the biggest crossover is problem solving: how can I get from here to there, and how many options do I have? Maths A-Level really fine-tunes your ability to turn a complex problem into a step-by-step process, and solving problems is what lawyers do on a daily basis!
