Sixth Form ESports Team Through to Finals

Wales High School Sixth Form ESports team have reached the finals of the British Esports Student Championships.

After a tough start, both teams played amazingly as the match went down to the ‘best of five’. They pulled together in the final two rounds, winning the 4th and 5th, placing them in the finals out of 192 teams nationwide.

We wish them all the best in the final which will take place on 24th April 2024.

How to get involved

The benefits of ESports participation include developed motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and associated transferrable skills such as advanced creativity, decision-making and technological aptitude.

Students of  Wales High School can join the eSports Club by simply turning up at lunch or after school on a Wednesday. Students will also receive an EC mark for each session they attend.
