My name is Matthew Bradshaw and I am a Parent Governor for Wales High School. I am 49, married with 2 daughters and have a son aged 14 who attends Wales High School.
I have previously been a Governor at my daughters Primary and Secondary schools and I find it interesting to learn how schools operate within their financial budgetary constraints to deliver excellent teaching and learning to the required curriculum making school a safe and engaging place to learn.
In my current Governor role, I am part of the Finance and Curriculum sub committees and the Science Link Governor as well as attending the Full Governing Body meetings.
I hold the position of Industrialization and PMO Manager for a local manufacturing company, employing approximately 200 people having overall responsibility for Engineering, ERP Master Data, Maintenance and Tooling Maintenance. I am also a Member Nominated Trustee of my companies Defined Benefit Pension Scheme, which I have held since 2005.
