Thorpe Salvin – not affected, students to use service 626.
Woodall – is affected, shuttle bus service 926 will be operating. Follow this link for the schedule.
Harthill – is affected, however service 626 will always serve the village so students may need to use a different stop depending on the location of the works. Students can use shuttle service 926 if they prefer.
Killamarsh – bus service 26 and 26a are affected, the latest timetable can be found here. There will be diversions in place so students who use this service to return home need to check the route. Alternatively students may use shuttle bus 926 where Derbyshire County Council do not provide school transport.
Sheffield area – is affected, TM Travel will arrange transport for students who would usually board service 626. Please contact TM Travel directly – details via this link.

Disruption to Bus Services Impacting Crystal Peaks / Waterthorpe / Killamarsh / Harthill / Woodall / Wales High School
Northern Power Grid will be carrying out road works around the Harthill area which will affect the running of the 626 bus service.
A service through Thorpe Salvin will be maintained during all the phases of road works.
There will be no service through Woodall from Wednesday 18 October to Tuesday 28 November 2023, Thursday 4 to Tuesday 30 January 2024, Wednesday 21 to Monday 26 February 2024 and Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 March 2024 as highlighted below.
From Saturday 1 September to Tuesday 28 November 2023, Thursday 4 January to Tuesday 6 February 2024, Wednesday 21 to Monday 26 February 2024, Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 March 2024, any students travelling from Waterthorpe to Wales High School will need to get to Crystal Peaks to make the journey on service 30 or 80 and then X5. Also, service 626 will not run through Killamarsh on those dates. The service 60, Ashley Travel, will still run between Killamarsh and Wales High School during those dates.
Saturday 1 September to Tuesday 17 October 2023
During the temporary closure of Union Street between Thorpe Road and Woodall Lane, the service 626 morning journey will start at Harthill, Thorpe Road/Glebe Farm Close at 07:46 and follow the normal route through Thorpe Salvin to Wales High School. The afternoon journey will run as normal between Wales High School and Harthill, Thorpe Road/Glebe Farm Close arriving at 15:25.
Travel between Woodall and Wales High School will be available on service 926 from Woodall, Woodall Lane/Dowcarr Lane at 07:51 to reach Wales at 08:05 (travelling through High Moor, Norwood and Wales Bar). A bus back from school will leave Wales, Wales Road/Lestermoor Avenue at 15:15 arriving at Woodall, Woodall Lane/Walseker Lane at 15:28.
Travel between Crystal Peaks and Wales High School will be by using services 30 or 80 and X5, changing at Retford Road in Handsworth.

During the temporary closure of Woodall Lane between Harthill and Woodall, the service 626 morning journey will start at Harthill, Union Street/Jackys Lane at 07:45 and follow the normal route through Thorpe Salvin to Wales High School. The afternoon journey will run as normal between Wales High School and Harthill, Union Street/Street Farm Close arriving at 15:26.
Due to Woodall Lane being temporarily closed to traffic, there will be no service through Woodall.
Travel between Crystal Peaks and Wales High School will be by using services 30, 80 and X5 as detailed above.
