Wales High Wins Seven Golds At This Year’s Roscars

13_thumbWales High school won seven gold awards and one silver award at this year’s Roscars ceremony.

The ROSCARS are all about celebrating the creative arts in Rotherham schools. This year’s ceremony was held at Magna Science Adventure Centre and was hosted by children’s TV presenter Dave Benson Philips.

The event had an Olympic theme with all of this year’s entries being based on one of the Olympic values; Courage, Determination, Equality, Excellence, Friendship, Inspiration, Respect. The Olympic theme was continued with winners being awarded bronze, silver or gold.

It was a fantastic night for our phenomenally talented students and the evening provided an excellent opportunity to showcase their creative talents.
