Students Celebrate A-Level and Vocational Qualification Results

The students of Wales High School are today celebrating some fantastic achievements in their A-level and vocational qualifications.

It was great news for many as they begin their apprenticeships, employment and higher education courses. 

 

Pepe Di’Iasio, Headteacher, saidAfter what has been such a challenging time to study and sit exams it is great to see so many of our students accepting offers at their chosen University and moving on to apprenticeships in those areas that they have a passion and flair in. As always, it has been a privilege to see students being rewarded for their hard work and determination and we are excited to hear of their travels and further successes in the future.”  

Across the year group, there were some excellent performances in a range of subjects achieved by the students.

Simeon Jones achieved 2 ‘A*’ and 2 ‘A’ grades and secured his place at Nottingham University to study ‘Chemical Engineering’
.

Joshua Lee achieved 2 ‘A*’, and 1, ‘A’, grades allowing him to further study his passion of Mathematics.

Maisy Lyne achieved ‘Distinction * ‘, ‘Distinction * ‘ and 1 ‘B’ grades and will be taking her apprenticeship position at Hart Shaw Accounting.

Malak Star achieved 4 ‘A’ grades and has accepted a place at Sheffield University to study Dental Surgery.
