Leg Waxing for Charity
Staff recently had their legs and hands waxed in aid of raising money for the Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Organised by sixth form tutor group 12.2 as part of their Rag Challenge, the event welcomed all staff and pupils who paid 50p to enter the Grand Hall not only to see the waxing, but to hear the screams of agony from staff.

The generous Kiveton based company ‘Joanna Louise’ provided us with two professional beauticians and supplied everything for the waxing.

As a popular event like this draws in the crowed, 12.2 tutor group representatives also took collections during the event and manage to raise over £150. This will be added to other money raised and there will be a presentation to invited guests, during the start of the next academic year.
