The Y9 event was a half day tutor based challenge called 'The Real Business Challenge' which was a simplified version of the Coca Cola challenge of the same name. The tutor groups were split into groups of 8 with each person having a role within their 'company'. They then developed a fruit juice drink based on fruits grown in one of the countries who will compete in next years London Olympic Games.
They considered the drink, its packaging, costs, sustainability issues, branding and distribution. Each tutor is providing a winning team and then Mr. Smith will pick a Year 9 champion who will receive a trophy.
