Over recent months, Mrs Ellis has developed a strong connection with the Rotherham Scorpions Junior Table Tennis Club. Weekly after school coaching sessions have provided a group of pupils the ability to learn the skills of the game.

As a result of this, two age based teams were formed – the under 13s and the under 16’s. Collectively, these formed ‘Team Wales’.

On Tuesday 27th April, Team Wales entered into the ‘Table Tennis Championship’ held at Wickersley School and Sports College. The under 13’s team enjoyed overall success in winning most of their games.

However, the under 16s team impressively won every match in their heat. They proudly secured the title of Rotherham Champions 2010.
