Bus Disruption – Linburg 639

We have been made aware that due to roadworks, the Linburg 639 bus will be unable to follow its normal route over the next 2/3 weeks.  The bus route will divert to avoid Rotherham Road, Laughton Common.  This means that the bus will not travel along Rotherham Road as it will carry on along Station Road (the B6060 main road) at Laughton Common to the Monksbridge roundabout.

Students who would normally board the 639 on Rotherham Road will need to use the bus stops on Monksbridge Road instead.  These are the stops where the 638 picks up and so students will be able to catch either the 638 or the 639 from these stops on Monksbridge Road.

The diversion is already in place and so please check that your child knows where to board the 638 or 639.
