Bluebell Wood Charity Donation

Presentation EveningStudents from Wales High School were rewarded for their hard work and success over the last school year recently. The annual presentation of certificates and awards evening celebrated the summer’s examination results.

There were also sponsored awards with prizes handed out to individuals for their outstanding achievements and determination. Guests got a special treat when the cast of the end of year production of Joseph performed Those Canaan Days, while ex-pupil and former World Superbike Champion James Toseland performed an original song on piano and vocals.

World Cup referee Howard Webb rounded of the evening by presenting a cheque for £14,427 to Bluebell Wood Children’s hospice.

“On behalf of the Hospice, I would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the fantastic amount of £14,427.18. It represents the tremendous fundraising efforts by pupils and staff of Wales High School.” Alison Brindley.
