Wales High School was invited by Department for Children, School and Families to become an Applied Learning Specialism School due to its outstanding performance.  Our aim is to provide a first class applied learning environment and share good practice with other schools.

We have achieved a very high pass rate in these subjects, almost 100%.  These courses offer predominantly practically based work with complimentry theory tasks. 

We currently offer courses in Construction, Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering and Hairdressing (Salon Services).

Construction and Motor Vehicle Maintenance take place at the Wales Vocational Academy, a building specially equipped to meet the needs of our learners.
