In September 2003 Wales High School was designated as a business and enterprise college by the DCSF. In the years since then the success of our specialism has resulted in us being designated as a High Performing Specialist School.
At Wales we deliver an enriched curriculum of Business and Enterprise. Business features throughout our formal curriculum, in a wide range of formal subject choices throughout all Key Stages. Also it is a growing feature of many other curriculum areas where business is used as a context for the delivery of the curriculum.
Enterprise is a key driver of our school life. We deliver a formal enterprise curriculum through PHSE programmes and collapsed timetable events. Additionally a wide range of mini enterprise programmes are delivered through market place events. This culminates in our annual Summer Fair. |
